Sachin has always loved being out in the forests, inquisitive about the various flowering trees and animals - small and big.
Sachin, is an engineer by profession and has worked as a technologist at various startups in US and India. However, after discovering his passion for nature, wildlife and travel, he founded Bamboo Rustles and Mowgli Expeditions.
He developed a small, off-the-grid nature camp next to a scrub forest in India. It runs on solar and without municipal water supply. It show cases self-sustained construction and lodging.
Sachin also started taking school children for multi day field trips to bio-diversity hot spots like the rain forests of Western Ghats - A UNESCO world heritage site.
Sachin is a trained naturalist and he plans birding and wildlife trips for people. He personally accompanies these experiential trips to unique destinations in India, Africa and Central America.
